Crataegus laevigata “Crimson Cloud”

The Midland Hawthorn Tree, Crimson Cloud is a popular cultivar of the hawthorn species Crataegus laevigata, and grows into a large dense tree. In spring it develops a mass of dark red flowers, accentuated by white centres. These are followed in the autumn by a thick covering of red fruitlets.
